If you took a ruler to a map and drew a line between Athlone TUS and Athlone town centre, you’d have to be millimetre-perfect to draw a dot as halfway as Wellmount. Want to get to College in the morning? It’s a seven-minute walk east. Want to get to town in the evening? It’s a seven-minute walk west. We guarantee there’s no other dedicated student accommodation as perfectly, centrally, equidistantly placed as Wellmount.

The world on your doorstep

You’re probably new to Athlone, but that doesn’t mean you need to spend months figuring out where everything is. It’s all just a stone’s throw from Wellmount Student Village. The train and bus stations are a short walk away, and you’ve easy access to the motorway. Whether you need shops or supermarkets, doctors or dentists, bars or beauty salons, cooked meals or cinemas, you can find them nearby without making your feet sore. And if all that still sounds like a bit much for you, then relax. We’re right on a busy bus route too.

There’s no place like home

Wellmount student apartments have a choice of three different room types and are full of home comforts for students in their first year at Athlone TUS. At the Village, you’ll meet many other first-year students like you. Only students share each bright, airy apartment, and you’ll all have your own private, lockable bedroom with a study area. You can get to know your new flatmates and learn a few culinary tips and tricks from each other in the well-appointed kitchen. From cookers to cutlery and microwaves to fridges! – we’ve thought of everything you’ll need to cook up a storm (or beans on toast, if you’d prefer).

Full of practical facilities

Venture outside your apartment, and you’ll see we’ve thought about the outside just as much as the inside. There’s good wifi available for you throughout your apartment and more than enough off-street parking for your car or bike. And there’s good news for mum or dad too – the on-site laundry room means you won’t need to drag your dirty washing back home every weekend for someone else to sort out. Sorry about that. Still, while your best jeans are on the spin cycle, you can always work up a sweat on the basketball and tennis courts.
