Second Semester Student Room Rates-2024
We specialise in providing safe, comfortable, inexpensive apartments for students, interns, and apprentices coming to Athlone. Our Athlone student room rates reflect two different room types of accommodation available. Book early to avoid disappointment as our rooms are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and you need to keep in mind there is a shortage of student accommodation in Athlone.
A €500 deposit is required to reserve your place.
If you change your mind or are not offered a place in TUS Midlands Athlone, we will return your deposit, less an administration fee of €100. To receive this refund, you must let us know on the day the first round of CAO offers is made.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not accepting applications for the full 2023/2024 academic year, as we only have places left for the second semester (January to May 2024).

- All utility bills are included–heating and electric, water, WiFi, refuse, nightly security patrols, and use of basketball & tennis courts.
- You can opt to pay in two installments or to pay via the payment plan.
- If you opt for the payment plan, an administration fee of €50 will be applied to each monthly invoice.

Refundable Security Deposit:
- Your security deposit is refundable at the end of the academic year if the apartment is returned in a satisfactory condition. Deductions will be made from this deposit for any damage or breakages, or if the apartment is not clean and tidy.
- If a student leaves during the academic year, they will lose their security deposit.
Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen has full cooking facilities including a kettle, toaster and microwave with a full complement of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Apartments are also provided with an iron, ironing board, sweeping brush, dustpan with a brush, mop with a bucket and a vacuum cleaner.
Each bedroom is secure with a lockable door, is single occupancy and is comfortably furnished with a bed, bedside locker, desk, chair, desk lamp, mirror and wastepaper basket.
